Must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy at a college or university with licensure by the VA State Board of Pharmacy by examination or reciprocity, and completion of three years of hospital pharmacy experience or an ASHP-approved pharmacy residency or fellowship program. Managing of pharmacy staff. Occasionally, due to scheduling shortage this position may be required to staff optimizing the needs of the department. The primary professional responsibility of the Clinical Manager is to manage and direct best efforts in promoting safe efficacious and cost effective medication therapy.
